We celebrated Sean's 15th birthday with a hike to Dark Hollow Falls, in Shenandoah National Park. it was a perfect day for a hike and there were lots of salamander and fern sightings (2 things Sean wanted to see).
There were lots of spots along the way where we could explore in the stream, so we meandered our way to the waterfall.
We made it to the falls, where we rested and ate Cheetos.

As we drove in Sean called out "There was a Luna moth back there!". We all missed it then, but stopped on the way out to get a better look. What an incredible insect!!
