Field Trip to the Wildlife Center of Virginia
Today we saw an opossum and a broad-winged hawk (below) up close and also saw several different types of owls, a young bald eagle, and an American Kestrel. I really enjoyed seeing and learning about these interesting local animals. Afterwards, we picnicked at Ridgeview Park and then the boys road go-carts. A full, fun day!
