Mountain Quest
The Welsch family and the O'Brien family met at Mountain Quest for a beautiful weekend of mountain views, family visiting, and good food and wine. This is a picture of the grounds at Mountain Quest, taken by Chris when we were on our short hike.
There are goats, horses and llamas at Mountain Quest. Here Chris is getting a greeting from Ella, a disabled llama who loves people and has her own pet sheep.
The horses were friendly when we passed through their field on our hike.
Later that evening, we had a family cook-out at Becky and Tony's house. It was great to finally meet Zara, who is Chris's cousin, Rachel's, daughter- making her a 2nd cousin to Max and a 3rd cousin to Darcy (sitting in Jodi's lap). Zara is just 40 days younger than Max. We know all 3 little ones will have lots of fun at future reunions.
This was Max's first visit to Nanny's house. They both seemed to enjoy it!
