Ready for a walk

Tissue fun!

Max crawled over to the windowsill and got a box of tissues.  He was thrilled and spent about 30 minutes pulling out the tissues and tearing them up.  My first thought was to take the box away so that he didn't make a mess, but then I realized that he was having safe, clean fun and that it would be a cinch to clean up when he was done.
A perfect example of how he's benefiting from being a third child!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

Max's first trip to the pumpkin patch!

Eric and Alex joined us

Having a blast on the hayride

Hanging on to Jack's huge pumpkin on the ride back

Musical Max

Max loves playing around with Jack's keyboard.  He has fun pressing the keys and bounces to the beat of programmed songs.  We're wondering if we have a musician in the family.

Cooking with beautiful autumn vegetables

Max loves blueberries

Max's favorite food is blueberries- thawed frozen ones that were picked (with love) by Nanny, Tony and Ally. :)

Jack's Birthday

Jack woke up to presents and donuts- happy birthday boy!

Pumpkin had fun, too.

Max's first concert

Max's first concert was The Avett Brothers in Charlottesville.  He slept through most of it, with the help of ear plugs.  Before he fell asleep, though, he bobbed along with the music and smiled at people around us.
